My name is Chad morrow and i'm currently in the Willamette MAT program in Salem, OR. On top of that I work full time at Corvallis High school as a behavior support person as well as the Freshman boys baskeball coach. Needless to say that I have alot of my plate right now.   So that is what I do during my day but in the evening I get to come home to my beautiful wife Kari. She's also in the MAT program at Willamette. She's in her second year of the program and is currently student teaching at West Albany High School. We live in Corvallis so we spend a decent amount of time in the car getting from where we live to where we need to be. We live with our future sister in law in the house she ownes while she finishes up her Veterinary degree at Oregon State.
I have my undergrad degree from Oregon State University in Exercise and Sports Science. I've also attended school at Lane CC and Linn Benton CC. I played basketball at Lane during my freshman year there. It was an interesting expirience and taught me alot about how I want to coach and how i don't want to coach.  I also learned a lot in terms of my basketball knowledge and that has already shown up in my coaching abilities.
I am currently working to get certified as a high school PE teacher. I have expirience teaching PE as a practicum student while I was at Oregon State and I really enjoy the teaching relm. I chose high school because I like where the students are in their lives and want to be apart of that time in their lives. I also plan on getting certified in Health and possibly basic math.  Ideally I want to teach PE but I understand that is a highly coveted job and I want to be able to get a job when I finish my time at Willamette.  As for now i think that is enough about me.
